I have a passion for working with individuals who struggle with their limiting beliefs, anxiety, trauma, grief, anger, and addictions. I am a Supreme Court Family Mediator and a Parent Coordinator. I also accept general counseling clients who simply need a little guidance. I also work with business executives who struggle to balance the demands of their profession and life.

I believe my approach to therapy has always been to provide a space where people can feel heard, understood and challenged to look at themselves and the choices they have made. This applies to the youth of today as well as those more experienced in life. I offer a genuine and direct approach to changing lives, while going at the right pace for each individual. People need to feel safe in a non judgmental space and appreciate honest feedback and direction while they transition on their therapeutic journey. I am eclectic in my approach to treatment and use a multitude of therapeutic techniques which are individualized to each client.

I work with adults and adolescences of all ages suffering with significant anxiety, depression and other complications. Clients are typically motivated to seek help after disruptive conditions continue or return. Often my clients have difficulty identifying their emotions and have significant frustration with attempts to change. Unconditional support fosters greater self-honesty, self-compassion, further facilitating making peace with our demons. Success at this builds confidence and a more honest, individuated life.

I have 25 years of experience studying, researching, training, and practicing clinical psychology in a community clinic and in private practice. The foundation of my work is developmental. That is, a person's life is an ever-developing psychological process. My understanding is based on discoveries in the subtleties of mother/infant communication. The results of the infant research have proven invaluable to the therapeutic process. Analytic training contributes to my ability to detect, understand and help clients of all ages address long standing patterns that prove disruptive to present functioning and the attainment of goals.
