I am the founder of Inner Light Psychotherapy and Wellness, LLC. We offer individual, couple and family therapy for English, Portuguese and Spanish speakers. Over the past thirty years, I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults with diverse mental health issues including depression, anxiety, Post-concussive syndrome, ADHD, learning disabilities, ASD, addiction, grief, and trauma. Recognizing that individuals experience stress in many aspects of their life and struggle with life's transitions, I work with children and adolescents transitioning through the stages of development and with adults facing marital, parenting, custody and relationship issues. I conduct psychological and neuropsychological testing to evaluate for mental health, academic, and neurological issues.

Neuropsychological evaluations will provide you with the most comprehensive understanding regarding your student's processing abilities, executive functions, and how to successfully address any observed deficits. I have been a trusted professional for many pediatricians, public and private schools, and parents. My evaluations will yield information to tailor make individual instructional strategies for your student to be implemented by teachers, tutors, and parents.

Dr. Kim is a bilingual (Korean/English) clinical neuropsychologist and clinical psychologist. He has a private practice in Englewood. He works as a clinical director of Clinical Psychology Externship program in Korean Medical Program, Holy Name MC in Teaneck. He received his PhD in clinical psychology from Yeshiva University. He completed a clinical fellowship in Clinical Psychology at Yale University, Psychiatry Dept, and a 2-year postdoctoral fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology and Cognitive Neuroscience at the Nathan Kline Institute (NKI) for Psychiatric Research, which is affiliated with the NY State Office of Mental Health.

I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and one of the owners of a group practice called Inspire Wellness. Inspire Wellness is made up of 25 clinicians with various specialties. We have offices throughout Bergen County offering therapy, Sport Psychology, Neuropsychological Testing, and Forensic Psychology. Tema Therapy is a multi-lingual Center created to serve the various needs of people and families who consider being multi-cultural or multi-lingual as a part of their identity. The founder of this facility, Dr. Irina Volynsky, had multiple experiences of being asked to evaluate or work in therapy with children and adults whose native language was not English, who were misdiagnosed, and were not receiving appropriate help. Upon further consideration, the barrier presented was not only about the language but also about the different cultural context in which norm and pathology were understood differently.

I am a psychologist who has provided psychotherapy and psychological testing services to children, adolescents, and adults for over 30 years. I have developed a particular interest in working with hypersensitive children and in the differential diagnosis of ADHD and Bipolar Disorder. Many of the pervasively hypersensitive children and adolescents with whom I work have come to me with a diagnosis of ADHD, but are then found, after a thorough evaluation, to have either an anxiety or mood disorder. As a therapist who works primarily with children and adolescents, I have found that when children feel understood and valued, they connect.
