I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist (SC 753) with over 30 years of private practice experience. Currently, I am in private practice with offices in both Beaufort and Bluffton, South Carolina. Prior to private practice, I worked in many outpatient clinics and inpatient hospitals which have thoroughly prepared me for the range of psychological issues that individuals face on a day-to-day basis. My therapeutic approach is both personalized and eclectic, designed to tackle the range of life problems that affect all of us in life.

Christine Knight is an Internal Family Systems practitioner trained by the IFS Institute and currently enrolled in Level 2 Intimacy From The Inside Out (IFIO) training & a clinical hypnotherapist dedicated to helping people reconnect back to the disconnected parts of themselves to bring healing, peace, and abundance into their lives. Christine has taken the "scenic route" in her own healing journey from complex childhood developmental trauma over the past two decades and now brings all her experience and education in clinical hypnotherapy and mental health counseling to help you navigate your journey towards healing and wholeness.

With over 30 years of clinical experience, I utilize CBT, imagery/relaxation, mindfulness/meditation, role play, play therapy and expressive therapies to address the challenges that children, adolescents and adults face. Therapeutic goals of clients may include increasing self-esteem, improving self-expression, decreasing anxiety, improving self/other awareness, increasing attention span, improving self-control, increasing frustration tolerance, improving anger management, decreasing teasing/bullying, and improving interpersonal relating skills. Alison is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with 30+ years of experience. Areas of specialty include anxiety/stress, depression, executive functioning disorders, couple/family/peer issues, conflict resolution, trauma response and coping with medical concerns. Her style is strength-based and collaborative with a goal of identifying areas of concern and working together to develop a solution-focused plan to achieve measurable and sustainable progress. Alison received her doctoral training and Master's Degree at Boston College and completed a fellowship at Harvard. She is committed to multi-disciplinary integrated care.

We are a group of counselors with different skills, specialties, and credentials. We strive to have a clinician suited for each and every client who contacts us. We are happy to check your insurance benefits prior to your visit. All of our clinicians are trauma-informed and trained in either TF-CBT or EMDR. We help clients as young as five through retirement age. We are conveniently located in the Riverwalk Business Park. We are 2 miles from Bluffton in the Okatie area of Ridgeland.

As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I am dedicated to working with children, adults, couples, and families. I have a Master of Arts (M.A.) in counseling psychology from the Wright Institute, Berkeley, California, where I gained solid education and professional training to work using a range of therapeutic approaches.

Children and teenagers are confronted with life’s ups and downs just like the adults around them. I have extensive experience working with children and teenagers with behavior issues, struggles with peer interactions, and family dynamic issues. I also specialize in working with men navigating fatherhood, marital issues, and intimacy concerns. Adults, like children and teens, face life transition stressors and other mental health struggles.
