I work with teens and adults in psychotherapy, provide parent coaching, and conduct assessments. Mary Calabrese is an experienced clinical psychologist and neuropsychologist practicing in Concord, Massachusetts. She conducts neuropsychological evaluations through testing of cognitive and learning issues such as ADHD and dyslexia. She also provides guidance for parents struggling to connect with their children. She takes a warm, problem solving approach to you and your concerns. Her goal is to identify blocks you put in your way, provide the tools to take control of your own life, and develop lifelong strategies to foster your independence. I provide psychoeducational assessments for students who are having difficulty in school. Currently I am only providing assessments through an online platform. Striving to help these students understand their strengths and weaknesses, as well as gaining skills to help school become easier is my number one goal. Often my clients have teachers or parents who believe that the student might have a psychological, attention, or learning difference, which is preventing them from learning to the best of their abilities.

I'm the president of Pioneer Valley Psychological Assessment Inc., a group practice dedicated to psychological, educational, and neuropsychological evaluation of adults and children. Dr. Flannery Geier, Dr. Emily Love and I are three psychologists who specialize in identifying the psychological, cognitive, and/or academic profile of individuals and making recommendations to help support them in work, school, and their personal lives. We write user-friendly reports and work collaboratively with clients, families, and referral sources to deliver evaluations that assist in meaningful change and greater self-understanding.

I am a clinician, consultant and evaluator for children, youth and young adults. I have helped families coping with trauma, divorce, behavior problems, substances, alcohol, eating disorders and other health-related difficulties, cognitive disorders or PDD. I have successfully helped individuals with anger, depression or anxiety, including OCD and PTSD. I work closely with families and schools treating those with ADHD, LD, and Developmental Disabilities, including Autism Spectrum disorders. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Family Therapy. Finally, I have a special interest in issues concerning adoption and individuals in the GLBTQIA+ community.

Please note: At this time, I am only accepting referrals for ADHD evaluations. A major focus of my work is in the evaluation and treatment of ADHD children, teens and adults. I understand how ADHD affects families and relationships, school, work and self-esteem. Because of the level of misinformation, I provide the facts about ADHD along with evidence-based strategies for bringing about change. Additional practice areas include couples counseling, parenting issues and helping adults with anxiety, depression and/or relationship difficulties.

Neuropsychological and Psychological Testing Only at this time ............ SECM provides various assessments (psychological, neuropsychological, and educational) to help diagnose and identify learning, psychological and mental health concerns. We work with children 5 years and older, adolescents, as well as adults.
