My primary interests are working with both men and women with anxiety, depression, addiction, life transitions, relationship challenges, emotional abuse, and early childhood trauma. Additionally, I enjoy couples work and have extensive training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy.

Mary works with individuals and couples to address attachment and emotional enmeshment, performance anxiety, moral injury and religious trauma, personality dynamics, and systems that cause people to feel stuck in life and relationships. Using an eclectic, psychodynamic approach to postmodern and constructivist theories, clients can expect to find meaning in problem solving and strengthen interpersonal relationships outside of therapy. In doing so, Mary integrates humor and everyday language in evidence-based therapies to educate clients along the way.

Through my years as mental health clinician, I have learned that change is not possible in isolation. It would be my privilege to assist in your change/growth process. I offer an eclectic approach to psychotherapy with an extensive background in the treatment of trauma.  My training in Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral therapy and Dr. Bruce Perry's work The Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics has enabled me to specialize in the treatment of anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD and many other diagnosis.

As an educator, of 15 years, a licensed clinical social worker for 25 years, specializing in anxiety, depression, ADHD in adults, trauma and anger management, I have assisted hundreds of adults and couples in redesigning their lives and relationships. I prefer an eclectic approach, including CBT, trauma informed care and EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques-also known as Tapping) within the therapy setting which is intended to empower you to think with intention, live by choice and unleash your own power.
