I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who treats a wide variety of issues and life changes, but I specialize in depression, anxiety, cutting, teens, couples and family therapy. I treat individuals ages 6 and older through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. I offer therapy tailored to fit your particular needs in a welcoming environment where you will be heard and encouraged while you heal. Therapy is centered around you, the individual, couple or family, at your pace and comfort level.

I recognize how challenging it can be to step into the process of healing and change and I work to meet you wherever you may be emotionally, mentally, and physically. Heather Sniezek (owner/clinical director) is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of Ohio who earned her Master of Arts from Ashland University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor of Psychology from Cleveland State University. Heather’s experience includes working in a private practice setting, inpatient psychiatric unit, grief counseling center, outpatient care, and in school counseling settings. Heather is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Trauma Focused- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

I specialize in the evaluation and evidence-based treatment of mood disorders, anxiety and stress, trauma, interpersonal and romantic relationships (e.g., communication, parenting, conflict, and infidelity), women’s health (e.g., pregnancy, postpartum, menopause), disordered eating and body image, health-related behavioral changes (e.g., adjustment to chronic illness, making lifestyle changes to improve medical conditions or overall wellbeing), sexual health and behavior, and issues relating to LGBTQ+ identification.
