I am a clinical psychologist and psychoanalyst, I studied at the Central University of Venezuela, my postgraduate studies at the Centro de Salud Mental del Este el Peñon and psychoanalytic training at the Venezuelan Association of Psychoanalysis (ASOVEP). I am an active member of the IPA (International Psychoanalytical Association) and the APA (American Psychoanalytical Association). My clinical practice dates back to my second year of graduate school. I work with children, adolescents and adults.

I maintain a small trauma-informed practice. I value kindness, directness, and work in an interactive manner. I am a Clinical Psychologist and have experience working with adults, adolescents, groups, couples, and families. I completed internship and post doctoral training in Health Psychology at The University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. I completed an additional postdoc in psychodynamic/psychoanalytic insight oriented psychotherapy and am a Board member wit the Southeast Florida Association for Psychoanalytic Psychology (SEFAPP). I have experience with a broad range of mental health difficulties and have specialized in multiple treatment approaches in order to provide optimal treatment and care.

Dr. Dainery Fuentes is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in psychotherapy with children, adolescents, and their parents. In addition, she also treats individual adults. She assists in the process of exploring and building the inner strength to allow for the growth that is necessary to transition successfully through the stages of life. Dr. Fuentes completed her Ph.D. at Yeshiva University, NYC. During her 35 years of practice, she has additionally trained in a number of areas including psychoanalytic therapy at the Cincinnati Institute. She has directed numerous psychiatric facilities and doctoral training programs.

I hold a PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Iowa and completed the Internship in Clinical Psychology at the University of Minnesota Medical School. I also completed training as a psychoanalyst at the Institute for Psychoanalysis, Chicago and at the Minnesota Psychoanalytic Institute. I work with individuals who present with a wide variety of clinical problems, both acute and chronic, and tailor the treatment to that which is indicated by the nature of the situation.

My name is Courtney Carlson, I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I have a passion for psychology, mental health, and overall well being. My own healing journey has given me unique insight into how to best help my clients. I utilize a mix of evidence based theories (including CBT and DBT as well as Gottman Method), matching what is needed to each client's individual situation. Though my specialty is learning to understand someone on a deeper level through a psychoanalytic approach. I have found this path provides long term healing and change.
