For the past decades, I have had the pleasure of treating and families here in the Lowcountry. I work with clients who have a variety of mood disorders (such as Bipolar Disorder and Major Depressive Disorder), Anxiety Disorders (such as Panic Disorder & Obsessive Compulsive Disorder), ADHD, Physical and Sexual abuse, Developmental Disorders, Bereavement, etc. The healthcare community uses labels to diagnose, understand and treat mental disorders. I enjoy working with individuals to help them uncover patterns of behavior or thinking that are interfering with their personal growth. By addressing the underlying issues that are creating problems, you will be able to create lasting change and transformation. I welcome clients working through life issues including; depression, anxiety, grief, relationship concerns, self-esteem, trauma, parenting, marital issues, and behavioral issues to name a few. In addition to individual therapy, I also offer couples and family therapy where we will work together to develop a functional system that will serve your individual needs.

I have many years experience working with a wide age range from 3 to 90 yrs old. I believe in helping my clients find a sense of empowerment within. i believe everyone can be supported and helped in working with their mental illness and emotional issues. I create a warm, comfortable and safe environment for all of my clients. I offer day, evening and Saturday appointments, therefore there is usually not a wait list. I have worked with non profit agencies, the federal probation program, and in a group practice. I have worked with clients experiencing depression, ADHD, PTSD, trauma and many other diagnoses.
