I can provide you with a therapeutic relationship that will feel safe and collaborative so that it can serve as the basis for healing. My goal is to work with you in assessing your strengths, exploring challenges, working to overcome barriers, and returning you to a peaceful and productive state. I will work with you to create a treatment plan that suits your personality and needs. Sometimes, all you need are the right words at the right time to change how you see the world…including yourself.

Welcome! We provide traditional and holistic healing for mind, body & spirit health. We work with individuals, couples, families & groups age 5 and up. The facility is located on a main street with free parking. This is a private practice with a private waiting room in a very comfortable & soothing setting. Look for the yellow house with raspberry trim. Hours are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and from 2:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. When you call, we will do a brief intake, verify your insurance benefits & schedule your first appointment. We do not have a waiting list and can schedule your first appointment within the same week.

I believe that my role as a counselor is to help others become congruent to their truth and find their own path. I focus on client strengths, and create a safe and supportive environment for insight and transformation to occur. I see myself as an empathic and intuitive listener, as well as a direct communicator. I can tell it as I see it, with tact and humor but I am also gentle and sensible. I find creative ways to challenge the barriers clients may encounter in their life journey. I believe in personal responsibility, and I see the counseling process as an active and collaborative one. Many people struggle with anxiety and depression as they cope with life's uncertainties. We are all redefining "normal." My training in CBT, EMDR, Strengths Centered, and Person Centered Therapy with men, women, children, elders, and caregivers is well rounded. People are dealing with trauma, abuse, employment issues, grief, mental illness, addiction, co-dependency, physical illness, parenting, divorce, retirement, and loss of identity. With over 20 yrs. experience as a psychotherapist, I am well versed in clinical practice. I incorporate a number of methods, including Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy, CBT, Mindfulness, & Attachment Therapy. I'm certified in EMDR for the treatment of trauma & other painful or highly charged memories, experiences, & relationships. My use of EMDR can facilitate rapid resolution of painful memories & relationships, trauma, & change negative beliefs about yourself.

Our experienced team of therapists has been helping clients achieve their best self, better relationships, and a more balanced life since 2012. The more common struggles we help clients overcome are anxiety and depression, trauma and PTSD, relationship problems, and parenting challenges. If you have been wrestling with these or other issues, we are here to help. We work with older kids (8+), adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Most of our therapists are EMDR trained (EMDRIA approved) and also use other effective approaches including CBT, DBT, and systemic approaches.
