The roles we take on and the patterns we develop to get through one chapter may not always be helpful to us in later ones. I believe there is power and healing in telling your story and that with guidance, you can own it, rewrite aspects of it, and choose what role you play. I’m here to help those who have been called, or might consider themselves a "highly-sensitive" individual. The sensitivity might be a result from experiencing trauma, or due to sensory processing difficulties. Specifically, I support those with Autism, ADHD, Sensory Processing Disorders, Chronic Illness and family conflict. In therapy, clients are looking for a safe space to process their life experiences. As a late diagnosed and identified neurodivergent therapist, my goal is to empower my client who may experience the world in this beautiful and "different" way.

I specialize in working with women who struggle with being the Good Girl. A "Good Girl" can be the current role of a child/adolescent or the Inner Child of an adult who filled this role growing up. She has a strong desire to be validated, valued, and approved of by others. She seeks this approval by meeting all expectations to the point of suppressing parts of their identity and emotions, conforming, and/or prioritizing the needs of others over self. My professional life has been consistently focused on serving people in need. After obtaining my bachelors degree from Michigan State University, I initially worked in the Governor's office in Lansing. I then decided to exercise my entrepreneurial spirit and transitioned into helping guide economically challenged families to find better housing solutions by developing low cost single family homes and developing large tracts of vacant and abandoned land. This work of helping families led me to desire doing work even more impactful, which led to my returning to school and obtaining my Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from the Michigan School of Professional Psychology.
