I specialize in areas of religious abuse, sexual trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, LGBTQ+, adjustment issues, and overall life stresses. My goal is to allow my clients space for healing, processing, and growth through both EMDR and individual talk therapy. I love helping my clients realize they have more power and control in their lives than they know, take ownership, and gain the tools they need to begin making changes.

I have many years experience working with adults and children suffering from depression, anxiety, OCD, anger issues, trauma, and abuse. I have also worked in the field of drug and alcohol addiction. After my graduate studies, my primary focus and training was working with children suffering from ADHD, ODD, depression, and anxiety. I used behavioral management coupled with parenting strategies to improve the overall parent/child relationship. I gained incredible knowledge and insight regarding chronic pain as well as grief and loss while working with the elderly population through home health care and hospice.

I offer weeknight and weekend appointments. I believe therapy is a safe space everyone can explore skills that are beneficial in life. I am confident I can assist you on your life journey. Dr. Lockard was awarded her Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) degree from the Adler School of Professional Psychology in Chicago, Illinois. She completed her internship at the Kentucky Department of Corrections where she focused on the treatment of male and female sex offender treatment. Her experience includes years of forensic and clinical treatment and evaluation in out-patient, in-patient, and correctional settings. Such experiences include: Community Mental Health Clinics, Autism Clinics, County and Psychiatric Hospitals, and state behavioral and social services agencies. Her areas of expertise (all bilingual) include: clinical, criminal forensic, psychosexual, and neuropsychological assessment and treatment.
