I am a trauma-informed therapist and licensed social worker working towards getting my clinical license. I have an undergraduate degree from Stockton University in social work specializing in children. And I have a master's degree from Monmouth University in social work specializing in clinical work with children and families. I am passionate about working with children, teens, and adults struggling with many issues, such as anxiety, ADHD, developmental disorders, learning delays, peer relationships, self-worth, and much more.

Footprints was started by a therapist who realized that often times the services provided to low socio-economic communities is lacking quality care. We noticed these communities were confronted with long wait times, disrespectful admins, and subpar treatment. The one and only purpose was to exploit the community for profit without providing the level of care deserved. Footprints began from the inspiration to provide quality mental health care to the poorest of communities and treating the clients of this community the same way a rich patient would be treated in a clinic treating affluent clients.

At RISE, we are motivated by a mutual belief that the day-to-day living and overall health of individuals and families can be improved through the enhancement of social-emotional intelligence. We use collaborative efforts between the clinician, family, school, social supports, and outside service providers to (1) meet individuals and families wherever they are; and (2) aid them in developing a stronger sense of understanding, along with the skills they need to overcome challenges and take on life with confidence. We serve children, adolescents, adults and families of all ages within the home, school, and community.

Accepting new clients! In life, we will all face obstacles. My goal as a therapist is to help you learn more about yourself and come up with ways to overcome these obstacles - ways that actually work. I utilize various modalities, but Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) are the modalities I most frequently draw from. I believe that not all therapeutic modalities work for everybody, and as such, I adapt according to my clients' needs. I have experience working with children over 8, teenagers, and adults.

The goal of my practice is to improve the quality of life of my clients and assist them reach their full potential and personal goals. Specializing in family and couple therapy. I also specialize in depression and anxiety. The ideal client will be dedicated to their own treatment and have a strong desire to feel better. Together with my client we work as a team to achieve the therapeutic goals and make life worth living and enjoying. I have been working in mental health for over a decade and it is my greatest passion in life.

I have worked with individuals and families of all ages who have struggled to overcome depression, anxiety, anger issues, marital conflict, low self-esteem, and suicidal ideation.

Some clients are encouraged or persuaded to engage in psychological services and others are fully self referred. I have come to learn that regardless of the avenue for initiating services and the reason for referral, most clients can have a positive therapeutic experience and achieve some measure of success, change or resolution to general or specific areas of concern or mutually defined treatment goals. My experiences have provided me with an appreciaition for clients' needs at various stages of life and given me the opportunity to learn to work effectively with clients with a wide range of functioning, types of problems and phases of life.

Hello, we are a private practice group providing a number of services to our communities. We offer counseling services for adolescents, adults, and seniors. Whether you are dealing with a chronic mental illness or a temporary life challenge, we are here to partner with you to help you achieve your clinical goals. Additionally, we are CSOC provider and offer in-home/ community services to families and children experiencing challenges/crises in their lives. Lastly, we offer evaluations for various immigration petitions.

Shirley understands how working through life’s unpredictable moments is not an easy task. She strives to help others learn to develop oneself to be the best version of themselves. Shirley provides a safe and comfortable space to foster growth. She is client centered and integrates Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to promote wellness and ability to become resilient.

Dylan Carney currently holds an Associate Counseling License in New Jersey and graduated from Stockton University with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. He continues to teach at Stockton University on the complexities of Gender & Sexuality and how they influence mental health functioning and social dynamics within respective communities. Dylan welcomes all who are willing to enter therapy and is prepared to see individuals regardless of social identity or individual therapeutic goals.

My name is Jenna and I am a licensed social worker, working towards my license in clinical social work.  I am a recent graduate from Rutgers University with a clinical concentration and a certificate in Aging and Health.  I have had the pleasure of working with a variety of populations spanning those with anxiety, autism, depression, and physical disabilities.  I enjoy working with clients of all ages ranging from children to older adults.  I also am an advocate of equal rights for all and have fought to defend those rights.
