I help individuals with goals that might include: becoming more in control of their emotions, working on managing stress and anger, and dealing with conflict in a healthy way. I teach men how to become emotionally vulnerable, which leads to greater satisfactions in relationships with others and themselves. The greater we know ourselves, the more connected we feel with others.

I recognize that we all face challenges in life and sometimes we need someone to walk with us in those challenges to provide support and ask questions that help us regain our power. While I have a particular love for working with teens, young adults, and couples, I have a great deal of experience working with children and families as well. I love to harness each client’s individual strengths and interests including music, spirituality, reading, creative writing, anime, and video games to help identify your values and goals.

I currently offer individual therapy to address mood disorders, post traumatic stress disorder, anxiety disorders and other issues related to behavioral health, stress, and grief. I am experienced in both individual and group crisis counseling and offer relationship, and family therapy. I am working on offering several therapeutic groups including a support/educational group for parents of behaviorally challenged children, a sexual assault group and a homicide support group for surviving family members. In home counseling for agoraphobic situations are available.

Russell E. Spieth, PhD is a licensed psychologist who has experience working with adolescents and adults in a variety of settings.
