As a Jungian and transpersonal psychotherapist I will use a variety of techniques to work with you.Your feelings of depression, anxiety, or overwhelm will be helped through learning techniques of self-soothing, mindfullness, meditation, and new ways to think through your problems. I believe in the power of your personal narrative and the imagery of your dreams and fantasies as ways to help you explore your own inner truths. I am trained to follow your lead and to pick up on the slightest clues in your telling and retelling of your life, your issues, your struggles.I am interactive in my style.

My clients come to me for a wide range of symptoms, but what they have in common is deep-seated feelings and thoughts of emptiness, loneliness, being unworthy or less-than, having to be perfect or ensure everyone else's comfort, being ignored, or being unloved and unlovable. They feel dead or numb inside, or experience big emotions such as fear and anger that seem out of proportion to what's going on. They want to feel loved, connected with others, optimistic and peaceful inside. They want to be able to feel their emotions without being overwhelmed by them. and maintain authentic and mutually fulfilling relationships.

I look forward to working with any psychological issues, but especially with clients expressing a sincere, motivating desire to change their life. I work with individuals (children & adults) and couples experiencing both deeper, long-term difficulties as well as more situational, short-term problems. While I work to help patients alleviate acute symptoms, it is often possible & advantageous to resolve the underlying causes of anxiety & depression in particular. My doctoral work also focused on Organizational Development. Clients facing work-related issues usually find this added perspective and training helpful.

Hello Healers, Life is not always easy, we have good days and bad days; however, we try our best to push through despite the hurdles we may be facing. Struggling with Anxiety, Depression, and/or life stressors can be intense; however, identifying these concerns and working on them step by step can be extremely beneficial for one's life.

Choosing to get help is a sometimes difficult and courageous decision, especially in these difficult times. As of March 2020, I have begun doing telehealth. I will try to help you to feel as comfortable as possible from our first contact. I know that the biggest compliment I can receive is to be told how “real” clients find me to be, and how understood they feel. I have been in practice in Redlands for more than 25 years, and I utilize various techniques, tailoring my interventions to meet the client’s needs. I believe that it is the relationship between the client and therapist that has the most to do with growth.
