After 20 plus years working in the mental health and substance use treatment fields I still enjoy watching patients grow and change in beautiful and interesting ways as we collaboratively work to develop copings skills and strategies to free them from the shackles that once bound them.

I offer support, hope, and healing for individuals and families suffering from Substance Use Disorders, grief, and PTSD. My goal is to partner with those seeking recovery to set realistic goals for growth while encouraging clients to embrace discomfort. I have experience treating Substance Use Disorders (SUD) and co-occurring mental health disorders including anxiety, depression, and PTSD. As a wounded healer, I both specialize and meet clients where they’re at dealing with complex loss experiences, relationships and substances, and those with a personal trauma story they are seeking to share and heal.

With a background in Counseling and a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy, I specialize in guiding individuals, couples, and families through challenges.

I have experience working with couples, adolescents, and adults from many different diverse backgrounds. I specialize in treating trauma, eating disorders, and pregnancy related concerns including infertility and infant loss. Originally from Upstate New York, Kali moved to the Midwest and graduated with her M.Ed in Mental Health Counseling from Wichita State University in 2020. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Master Addiction Counselor currently working toward clinical licensure. She has a wealth of experience working with a variety of client populations and treating a variety of mental health needs including but not limited to depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, substance abuse, post-traumatic stress disorder, and other trauma-related conditions.

With over 25 years of counseling experience, I have developed a passion for working with people who have experienced challenges related to substance abuse, the criminal justice system, the child welfare system, gender identity, and being LGBTQ+. I also love helping people with anxiety, depression, self-harming behaviors, bipolar disorder, ADHD, excessive anger, unresolved trauma, grief, PTSD, and many other mental health needs. As an eclectic therapist, I use a variety of treatment modalities including CBT, Reality Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, REBT, and SFBT, and am in the process of becoming certified in DBT.

As a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist and Certified Sex Therapist through AASECT since 2005, I offer a dynamic and intensive relationship therapy/coaching experience.
