My name is Dr. Sherilyn Howard, D.Min., and I have pastored a church with my husband for over twenty years. I received my Doctorate degree from Liberty University in Spiritual Formation, and a Master's degree in Pastoral Counseling and Theological Studies.

Welcome, and thank you for visiting my page. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Alabama, Florida, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Virginia, a Board Certified Diplomate, and a Registered Play Therapist, and I hold multiple credentials. As a social worker, life coach, and trauma professional, I am here to help clients reach their goals of overcoming life challenges, growing in new ways, and helping develop new positive goals and ways of doing things. Additionally, I work with LGBTQ+ Clients on coming out, identity development, and gender identity issues. I provide a safe place for clients to explore the challenges facing them.

I know that life can be difficult to navigate on your own. You don't need to discern everything by yourself. Friends and family may or may not want to help, but their subjective guidance can only extend so far. It is sometimes necessary to reach out to professionals who can provide their professional empathic, objective guidance. I have been successfully providing counseling since 1994, to people like you, who are struggling with some of Life's many challenges. People are finding it is helpful to seek counseling. I provide both couples counseling, and individual counseling for adults. I assist people to move toward their life goals.

I'm here to help you become the best version of you emotionally, physically, spiritually, and socially. I'm able to provide you with resources, referrals, individual, couple, group and family therapy sessions in order help you to achieve your goals in a positive, accepting and safe environment. I work with tweens, teenagers and adults of all ages, races, genders and sexual orientations struggling with various life stressors/issues. Some of these include academics, occupation, family conflict, social relationships, gender confusion and identity, trauma, grief and loss, divorce, parenting, addictions, poor body- image, disordered eating patterns, and eating disorders.
