I have extensive expertise in treating those who face a variety of challenges including anxiety, stress, sadness and depressed mood, grief, family and life transitions, relationship difficulties, trauma, adoption, attachment-related concerns, OCD, chronic illness, and interpersonal struggles. I am a rostered, prelicensed clinical social worker, and I want to put my skills and experience to use for anyone who is grappling with transition, grief, trauma, depression, anxiety, no matter how near or far they are from home. I have years of experience with intercultural communication and adaptation through my studies, therapy work, my time as an English as a Second Language Teacher, and my own personal experiences as a stranger in strange lands. I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor specializing in psychotherapy for pregnant and postpartum individuals. I earned my degree at Goddard College and completed my clinical internship with a community mental health agency in Vermont, The Clara Martin Center. Prior to earning my degree, I worked for mental health agencies in New England and the Midwest, facilitating Wellness programming and therapeutic farming with young adults at alternative schools in Detroit, Michigan and Western Massachusetts.

Therapeutic Cathartic Breathwork assists in the healing of the self (body/mind/ heart and awareness), while releasing repetition compulsions from the past in order to live a life based on inner authority and sovereignty. Often clients are attracted to the cathartic breath as other modalities have not resulted in completion. The Therapeutic Cathartic Breath is not a mental tool, though it releases non supportive belief systems. It is an invitation to open to expanded states of consciousness, connecting us to our larger self before there was any trauma or dis-ease. We surrender to our "true source" however we define it.

Do you have an unpredictable work schedule that makes it frustrating to attend consistent therapy appointments? I have tailored my practice to accommodate individuals with shifting schedules and see many in the medical, veterinary, and service industries. I also have some evening availability . All appointments are via telehealth at this time, as I am not primarily located in Vermont.
