In my 30 years of personal and professional development, I have created a unique approach to bring hope and strength, healing and transformation to those who are ready. My philosophy is based on healing relationship within Self, with others and with the world. My passion is helping others through life's ups and down standing along side them in the journey. I have found through therapeutic sessions a common thread, and that is finding and holding on to hope, and the struggle in learning to truly love yourself. This can come from a number of reasons including past trauma, low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, early childhood beliefs, and the list goes on. When an individual is comfortable "being in their own skin" they can move forward into healthy relationships and joy in life beginning to feel true love and hope bringing lifetime contentment.

I have been practicing in the Substance abuse and Mental Health arena since 2007. I have a Master’s in Professional Counseling and a Masters in Addiction Counseling. I have the following Certifications/ Licensure: LAADC-CA, LISAC-AZ, LCDC-TX, LADC II, MCAP-FL and SAP. I specialize in Addiction Treatment but also Co-Occurring issues that may have had a role in substance abuse. Ages 16 and older are my focus group and with all concerns from PTSD, gender dysphoria, anxiety, depression and obsessive compulsive disorder. My approach is a combination of CBT, REBT, MI, HARM Reduction and Therapeutic Community.

My treatment focus is helping people find themselves within themselves, and helping people establish and maintain who they are and who they want to be within intimate relationships. Relationships sometimes feel too distant and, unfortunately, these relationships can often leave people feeling emotionally abandoned or isolated. Or, relationships can feel too merged, leaving people feeling overwhelmed or smothered by another's needs or demands. After 30+ years practicing psychotherapy and marriage counseling, I still find relationships issues to be a major reason why people come to therapy. Relationships can sometimes be too emotionally merged, or too emotionally distant and isolating (however, there are times when relationships feel both merged and isolating all at the same time). My focus is on helping people realize and alter emotional issues that pop up over and over again and consistently inhibit relationships. Sometimes we know we're stuck or lost in a relationship, but we just can't figure out...any way 'out' of what we feel.

You may have an unfulfilled soul contract & working with me can be a key step in understanding terms of any such contracts & how to exert your conscious free will over them NOW. Most contracts are relational in nature & primarily include (not limited to) twin flame connections, dark twin flame entanglements, parent-child agreements, birth chart conditions, congenital conditions, past-life karmic carry-over, future action karmic retrograde, energetic patterns,etc.

I help people to find out what gets in the way of them being effective in everyday life and help them look to a healthier future. I really enjoy working with marriage/family/parent-child relationships in a safe, non-judgmental way that opens up communication and eases tension/conflict. In therapy, I'm active, direct, integrative/creative, encouraging, and compassionate. I engage with you as a partner in identifying what works for you, acting on it, and following through. I enjoy coordinating treatment with other providers/helpers/support people. I'm skilled in working with gifted/talented individuals, soul-searching, and addiction/recovery.
