I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Indiana and a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Kentucky. I specialize in couples' work and sexuality, and also have extensive experience with families, at-risk youth, depression, ADHD and trauma. Clinical style is client-centered, solution-focused and reality based, with a certain dose of humor. I also offer EMDR therapy. Straight and LGBTQ communities are welcome. Fee ranges from $80-100, with limited sliding scale fee available for some circumstances. Most insurance plans accepted.

Sex can be difficult to talk about not to mention painful and confusing. Maybe it's created a wedge between you and your partner. I will walk with you through beliefs about your body and sex, we talk about drive and function, anatomy and physiology, gender and marriage and all the good stuff in between, using both therapeutic and practical tools. Are sexual issues causing distress in your life? As one of just a few sex therapists certified by the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT) in Indiana, I have trained extensively in issues related to sexuality. Common problems include those related to sexual functioning (desire, arousal, orgasm), compulsive sexual behavior, intimacy concerns, sexual orientation struggles, and transgender issues. My training is as a Clinical Psychologist first, with specializations in areas of sexual and behavioral health. Preemptive therapy, to explore interpersonal and interpersonal issues before they become too problematic, is also a service I offer.

I specialize in several areas of human sexuality including medical disorders such as female inorgasmia, betrayal trauma, affair recovery, childhood sexual abuse, healthy sexuality, and consulting with churches and corporations on safe child policies. I will work with you in an understanding and compassionate manner to help transform you into a stronger individual that has survived adversity and triumphed over hurt as well as help you improve your sex life. I also offer several day intensives to shorten the duration of treatment and expedite the healing process.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and AASECT certified sex therapist (CST) who enjoys working with older adolescents and adults. I started off my career working with folks recovering from substance use disorders. Understanding that substances are not the problem, but the solution to the problem, my focus then became on underlying mental health issues that these clients had. These were often related to unresolved trauma, relationship issues, and troubles with intimacy/sex.

I'm particularly passionate about working with LGBTQIA+ folks and survivors of interpersonal trauma.
