My clinical skills are vast after over 30 years in private practice and 40 years as a social worker. I have worked with the military in Europe as a family therapist and participate in the Give an Hour Program here in Kentucky. I serve on several boards including the Kent School Social Work Board, and the National Association of Social Work Ethics Committee.

My work with clients has included addressing depression, anxiety, self-esteem and identity concerns as well as the social/emotional challenges that accompany ADHD, Autism and other disabilities. As a self avowed ‘nerd therapist’ with ADHD myself, I am passionate about working with fellow nerds, outcasts, artists or creatives who may feel out of sync with a mainstream approach. I am particularly adept at assisting clients in identifying their strengths and talents and applying them toward career, educational and other life goals. I am sex positive and endeavor to be an ally to LGBTQ+, poly and kink communities.

My goal as a mental health provider is to create an inclusive, non-judgmental space for all clients I work with. Kelsey, MACMHC, MAAC, BSP, LPCA provides services to women and young adults. Her primary focus is in women's health and she provides therapy to women of all ages of multiple stressors including anxiety, depression, pregnancy & postpartum stress, chronic pain, parenting struggles and more. Kelsey has experience working with neurodiverse individuals with ADHD and autism. She provides trauma therapy and mindfulness practice to her clients. In addition, Kelsey collaborates with pelvic floor physical therapists and OBGYN's in the area to assist her clients with pelvic floor dysfunction, pelvic pain, prolapse, Sex Therapy, etc.

I am non-binary transwoman and my pronouns are she/they. I've been practicing for 14 years. I've worked with clients across the life span and from many varied backgrounds. My areas of expertise are gender and sexuality, particularly LGBTQ issues, and trauma. I have been an advocate and educator as well as a member of the LGBTQ community for over 30 years.
