My clients consist mainly of open minded, artistic and unconventional persons wanting more intimacy and connection or wanting to explore their innate gifts and talents. I also work with lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and non-binary persons. However, I love working with anyone who is seeking growth, wholeness and perspective.

I often look at life as a roller coaster. It's filled with ups and downs, twists and turns. Some of the things that life throws our way we are not prepared for and have felt as though we have no one to turn to. In the past therapy was frowned upon and what happens in the family was suppose to stay in the family, but if healing has never taken place and we have not learned new ways of handling the twist and turns of life we tend to repeat generational patterns. I have been working in the field for 25+ years in various capacities from IDD/Autism, clinics, in and out patient, LGBTQ, Correctional Facility Drug Program, men and adolescent re-entry, brushing with some gang activity. Whats was common was: NO PLAN; there should to be a plan. People have to be honest with themself. When being assessed be honest; fabricating the truth; the cycle continues; being honest; the healing begins. It's not easy, but necessary. Prior to being in Asheville for almost a decade, I originally hail from Miami, Fl. I am a proud daughter of Cuban immigrants and a first-generation college student. As a teen I had my own battles with physical and mental wellness, difficulties with acculturation as well as struggled with cultural stigma in regard to mental health care. Through my own work, I have been able to find healing and am now honored to support others who struggle with their own mental wellness and similar issues.
