As a psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP), my goal is to provide a safe, nurturing environment for you to share your thoughts and feelings. As a biology major and a candidate for a Ph.D. in neuroscience I became interested in helping people with emotional, cognitive, or behavioral problems. In 1974 I studied at the Institute for Rational Emotive Therapy in New York City and was trained by Dr. Albert Ellis, PhD. I love working with children, adolescents, and adults using cognitive behavioral therapy to help people live more satisfying lives. I had also started the first partial hospital program in Delaware and worked ten years running an inpatient program. I work in a private practice and work closely with schools agencies and employers to ensure continuity of care.

In fact, my practice is exclusively focussed on testing and consultative services. I DO NOT PROVIDE THERAPY SERVICES. Debbie completed her Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral Science and Master's Degree in Community Counseling from Wilmington University and has been working in the counseling field since 2003. She works with late teens and adults ranging in age from 18-65+. At Spring Forward Psychotherapy, LLC, my mission is to provide high-quality, compassionate care to adults and teenagers (14 and older) struggling with mental health issues or who need help processing daily life and routine stressors. Dr. Weintel earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Widener University. She has had a variety of clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and adults, in inpatient as well as outpatient settings. Currently, Dr. Weintel sees adults (18+) and couples. Her practice focuses on working with difficulties related to depression, anxiety, women's issues, work-life balance, trauma, personality disorders, life transitions, loss, aging, and relationships, among others. Her style combines a mix of psychodynamic and humanistic theories, and incorporates CBT interventions.

Dr. Jamie DiOrio is a Licensed Psychologist in the State of Delaware. Dr. DiOrio earned her Doctoral and Master of Arts degrees in Clinical Psychology from Immaculata University. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Clinical/Counseling Psychology from The College of New Jersey. Dr. DiOrio has diverse outpatient clinical experience conducting therapy and assessments with children, adolescents, and adults.
