It's only about getting by until we can get out. Rather than finding safety in connection as human beings are built to do, we see connection as a threat, yet simultaneously crave it. We develop protective ways of relating to people we love, which often lead to feeling conflicted, distant, and unsatisfied. Life in the 21st century can be overwhelming. Stress affects relationships, work, social groups, home, health...and the list goes on. I've been working with individuals, families and organizations for 20+ years. I've had the best clinical training available in a broad range of techniques (below). I am board certified in clinical social work and hypnosis. I have a PhD in natural health. Prior to that, I worked for 25 years as a policy manager for corporate, government and non profit organizations, and understand work/home stress. The outward turns can manifest as uncontrolled behavior or lashing out. Seeking guidance and help in these times can get you back on track.

I identified with a religion that once gave me freedom, but now it leaves me in bondage. My family was once a safe haven, but now dad is drinking too much and everything I knew is gone.

I am a clinical psychologist who is passionate about my work with children, teens, and adults. I prefer to take a relational, client-centered approach to psychotherapy and strive to create a safe, non-judgmental, collaborative environment where my clients can be empowered to create positive change and to live better and more meaningful lives. I also come with years of experience working with families. In additional to my clinical work, I also provide forensic psychological assessments (immigration, personal injury, social investigations) and psychoeducational and educational testing for learning differences, autism, and ADHD.
