I received my Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Florida Atlantic University, have over 15 years of working experience in the mental health field. My specialty areas include counseling children, adolescents, and couples, as well as family therapy, and trauma. I have extensive training and experience with children's issues, and spent many years as a Behavioral Health Professional in an Elementary School setting. I have experience in the treatment of anger management, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, anxiety and sexual abuse. I am a Qualified Supervisor for the supervisision and training of clinical therapists for licensure.

I have many years experience working with adults and children suffering from depression, anxiety, OCD, anger issues, trauma, and abuse. I have also worked in the field of drug and alcohol addiction. After my graduate studies, my primary focus and training was working with children suffering from ADHD, ODD, depression, and anxiety. I used behavioral management coupled with parenting strategies to improve the overall parent/child relationship. I gained incredible knowledge and insight regarding chronic pain as well as grief and loss while working with the elderly population through home health care and hospice.

I provide tools to help significantly decrease or alleviate feelings and struggles such as depression, anxiety, anger, obsessive compulsive symptoms, relationship, family and marital problems, abuse, addiction, work related difficulties, transitional, and adjustment issues. A womb is created in the room of therapy. This is a recreation of the mother-infant bonding and positive attachment that was lacking or inadequate.
