I have experience working with adolescents and adults from various cultural backgrounds, ages, sexualities, and gender expressions, with various goals, trauma histories, diagnoses, and physical health conditions. My professional interests include intergenerational healing, the impact of marginalization on health, LGBTQ identities and experiences, inner child work, and the use of expressive arts in healing.

I use ACT, TF-CBT, CBT, and EXA Therapy to help clients who have difficulties with: Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, daily life struggles and several other mental health differences. Together, my clients and I work towards psychological flexibility using a framework that focuses in on their values, mindfulness techniques, as well as cognitive diffusion and other framework components. I also like to have available several expressive arts mediums and utilize elements of movement, silence, storytelling, and sound to aid in the processing of different emotions.

My main clinical passion lies in helping young children, primarily newborns to age nine, better understand their own emotions so that they can cope with them adaptively. I also enjoy working with adults, particularly those who have experienced stress or trauma during their childhood. I recognize that oftentimes these painful experiences block people from accessing their authentic selves, which leads to a feeling of being “stuck.” With this perspective as my guide, I help clients of all ages work through their inter- and intra-personal defenses to become "unstuck".
