I have been in the business of the healing arts for almost 20 years - providing services from case management to individual counseling. I obtained my Bachelor' in Psychology from Texas Tech University in 2000 and my Master' in Community Counseling from Webster University in 2010. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and in good standing with the State of Texas. I have experience working with a wide range of ages, socioeconomics, and cultures, which I believe gives me a well-rounded approach to anyone in need, including individuals, families, and couples.

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and I enjoy working with children, adolescents, adults, and elderly clients. I have 15 years direct experience in the behavioral & mental health and substance abuse fields. I assist individuals in coping with life issues including dual diagnoses, behavioral, mental health, substance abuse, relationships, personal conflicts, sexual issues, problem solving, decision making and developmental concerns using an eclectic approach supported by evidence-based research. I provide counseling services to children via art and play therapy. I also counsel adolescents and adults to address a variety of topics (trauma, substance abuse, peer pressure, mental health issues, anxiety, depression, adjustments, trauma, etc).

Welcome! My name is Tiffany Dunnells, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I am a multimodal counselor that leads with a client-centered approach to allow the client to guide the session and determine the priority for our counseling and the goals. I started working in mental health back in 2015, and I have a vast experience working with a variety of clientele, both with adults and youth of all ages, with all kinds of traumas, substance use, depression, anxiety, bipolar, etc., and am eager to help my clients create the best lives possible for themselves.

My primary areas of focus are LGBTQIA+ related issues, working with folx in recovery from substance abuse, and supporting parents of adolescents and young adults. My clients deal with issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, food struggles and codependency. Their needs include having a safe place to talk and speaking with someone who listens, without judgment. This may also include details regarding unprocessed childhood trauma. Helping clients to gain better self-awareness whether they are struggling with chronic pain, depression, grief, anxiety, anger or relationship issues is what I do best. I find that when clients realize that I genuinely care about them and their progress an immediate burden is lifted. Couples counseling can bring a sense of hope in just one session, real work and restoration takes all working together. I enjoy working with children on their level with games, toys and other activities.
