I offer a strength-based and collaborative approach while working with children, teens, adults, and families. Although many therapists, including myself have a reduced fee, services are still not financially accessible for many families. I supervise Master's level interns with a sliding scale between $65-$25 per session. Everyone should be able to access mental health care.

Sometimes you can manage it all by yourself. Sometimes your teen will quickly outgrow it. But, there are other times when you or your teen really could use some professional help. Whether it's distressing feelings or thoughts, difficult things that have happened, relationship problems, other stumbling blocks, or just a wish to change your life's course, we can figure it out together.

Maybe you're in a relationship where conflict is difficult to navigate, and you feel stuck in patterns that leave you feeling frustrated and alone. Maybe you're a parent who worries about your teen and their behaviors. Perhaps you're ready to heal past wounds and need support building a healthy sense of self. I do virtual therapy with clients here in Colorado. Most of my clients are seeking assistance in mitigating the stressors in their lives. Family relationships; grief/loss; difficulties with parenting or accepting parenting; substance use; crises of faith...all these issues are present in my practice. Most are looking for direction; someone to help sort through the problem and achieve an adaptive resolution. They are distressed that they are at odds with family; concerned over the loss of control with substances; and some are wondering about their purpose in the world.

I have been working with children, adults, couples, and families since the start of 2023. In my work, I use cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and systems approaches. Before Road to Growth, my prior experience included work in mental health, educational, and community outreach settings. The moment I realized I wanted to pursue a career as a Marriage and Family Therapist was during my first psychology course in high school. This course sparked my interest in counseling, specifically with couples and families. A core value of mine is how important relationships are with the world, our families, and ourselves. Learning about the developmental stages inspired me to focus on the importance of relationships. Relationships are fundamental to a child's upbringing, not just to children but at all stages of life, starting with childhood, leading to adolescence, and though adulthood.
