My path into mental health was inspired by my desire to help others achieve a life of fulfillment and balance. I learned that sexuality, gender identity, self expression and relationship intelligence are importance concepts when identifying individual life satisfaction. These topics can often times be taboo to discuss in our society, leading to feelings of guilt/shame, increased isolation and loneliness. My goal is to normalize these conversations and therapy.

The heart of my work centers around adults of the South Asian Diaspora (individuals from Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Myanmar, and Bangladesh). My work includes the voices of those who have navigated a multicultural experience, which commonly includes those who are Fijian, Guyanese, Trinidadian, etc. in addition to their South Asian identity. My familiarity is common amongst the Muslim, Sikh, Hindu, Buddhist, Christian, Catholic, and Agnostic exposure. All of your identities are welcome and celebrated here. It is here where I to continue to guide other South Asians on journeys home to themselves.

I continue to feel humbled by the power of therapy. Therapy will heal your pain. But it will not just relieve your suffering, a strong client-therapist fit will allow you to bear witness to the strength that comes from the courage of confronting the vulnerability within ourselves. Looking for a therapist should feel like buying a car- it needs to feel right, cost right and look right. Because that feeling of trust and safety is crucial to creating a space of brutal honesty as you begin to identify and explore your conscious and unconscious obstacles to equip yourself with the emotional tools and healing you seek.
