As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker & Psychotherapist, I believe in treating the whole person: mind, body, and spirit. My passion is helping individuals develop a better understanding of their life through exploring difficult patterns and issues that keep them from connecting to their true selves. I have worked in the mental health field for over 15 years and have a diverse background working with individuals of all ages, as well as couples. I am passionate about providing you with a safe place of healing to help you rediscover peace from within.

We all have similarities whether it's learning to manage daily stressors, challenges that occur within a season, or just coping with long-term concerns that effect our mood and thoughts. Life is not always easy. Anxiety, depression, addiction, conflict, major life changes such as the death of a loved one, entering college, or divorce, etc., and every day stressors can result in loneliness, anger, compulsiveness, and a feeling of hopelessness. However, therapeutic interventions provided in an atmosphere of acceptance and respect allows individuals to develop new ways to overcome and/or cope with life’s challenges. I am eager to listen, help you gain insight, provide resources, and share tools that can help you transition to a life that aligns with your personal values and goals.

Trauma comes in many ways and brings with it many difficult symptoms. Fear, worry, sadness, and a feeling that you can't cope are just a few. Others don't always understand you or know how to help. This is especially true for parents who want to help their children navigate traumatic experiences but feel helpless to know where to start. There is nothing more frightening than having a child or teen who is struggling with anxiety, depression, and/or suicidal thoughts. Teenagers often feel unheard and parents can feel helpless.

They may be having a hard time sleeping because they just can't seem to turn their brain off at night. We all have the ability to be amazing, but sometimes find ourselves in a position to have to relearn how to tap into our own inner strength and resiliency.
