I thoroughly assess each client and work with their own unique circumstances and strengths to address their issues, resolve presenting problems and accomplish goals. I specialize in the treatment of issues including: mental illness, phase of life, grief and loss, reconciliation, divorce, adjustment to medical or mental health diagnosis, occupational, spiritual, trauma, abuse and women’s issues. Our treatment approach is based on over 20 years of providing testing and treatment services. In every case, our primary treatment goal is to help clients develop the necessary skills to improve health, academic performance, day-to-day functioning and sense of well-being and self-efficacy. Brooks Psychology: Women's Wellness. The foundation of my therapeutic approach is a combination between Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy with an implementation of Creative Arts. My sessions are forward focused in which the treatment plan is focused on areas of growth. With that said every treatment plan created is personalized for the individual based on their needs, wants and symptoms, but is catered to female oriented issues.
