Greetings ! As a psychologist with almost 40 years of experience, I divide my professional time between providing psychotherapy & conducting psychological evaluations. My goal is to provide an emotionally safe therapeutic environment where patients feel comfortable working on personal challenges & recovering from painful experiences. While people often seek the assistance of a psychologist at a point where they are feeling vulnerable, I focus on identifying areas of personal strength and fostering a sense of self-efficacy so that they may feel more confident & in control of their lives.

There are times in each of our lives that we need someone to talk to, someone who will listen in a non-judgmental way to our thoughts, feelings, and our struggles; someone who will help us hear our inner wisdom to find the solutions we need to live healthy, whole, meaningful lives; someone who can offer guidance and teach us the life skills we need to face and work through our life issues, who can help us see ourselves in a realistic, compassionate way. I'm Rhea Kisling, and I've dedicated over two decades to the behavioral health sector. It feels like only yesterday when I began assisting families and children, later transitioning to focus on adults. My drive stems from a profound passion for aiding individuals in improving their circumstances. Irrespective of our diverse backgrounds, educations, or life journeys, we all yearn for fulfillment, love, and a sense of achievement or happiness.

I would like to offer support for those who are struggling with life's problems and in need of healing but have found it difficult to reach out for help. I am passionate about working with clients who struggle with depression, anxiety, drug and alcohol abuse, sex and porn addiction, bullying and low self-esteem, spiritual issues, grief and trauma recovery. I also have experience working with couples and families and enjoy seeing the healing that can occur in relationships through counseling. I see clients both in person and online.

As a therapist, I love working with anyone who wants to better understand themselves and to grow each and every day as a human being. I work well with all ages, but work best with those over the age of 12. I have a lot of experience with leadership development, personal development, and health and wellness and I often weave those into my individual therapy sessions. I love when people set goals and we can work together to get them wherever they want to go. I specialize in the treatment of anxiety, depression, disordered eating, life transitions, fertility issues, low self esteem, trauma, and relationship issues.

Were you recently the victim of a personal injury claim? My clients are typically experiencing PTSD symptoms and/or chronic pain, caused by a recent traumatic event. These symptoms are often exacerbated when they are not able to receive immediate treatment. I work hard to not only build the relationship necessary to facilitate the healing process, but the knowledge and the skills for clients to do so. I help my clients redefine their lives and their values, to begin making the efforts necessary to overcome their current circumstances, and build a new and better life, with meaning and fulfillment.

Are you are a full-time employee or full-time student seeking counseling services outside of your 9-5? I offer sessions after 5:15 pm on weekdays as well as give my clients the option for a weekend session. I use a Dialectical Behavioral Therapy approach that is highly flexible in order to meet the needs of my client’s unique and diverse lifestyles. I specialize in adolescents, college students, and young professionals dealing with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, body dysmorphia, and managing interpersonal relationships.

Often in psychotherapy, growth involves vulnerability, learning and healing. As a humanist, with an experiential approach, I offer nurturing, integrative psychotherapy to adults. Personality, relationship, mood, and body are special areas of experience and interest. Though this process takes many directions, I enjoy joining my clients' exploration inward, accompanying them in insight. I am excited by their discovery, reclaiming, and application of self to live in an authentically meaningful, harmonious way.
