Delta Medical Center for Heroin Addiction, Treatment Facility in Memphis
“Heroin is a powerful semi-synthetic opiate derived from an Asian poppy plant. Heroin is used on the streets as a recreational drug because it creates the feelings of well-being and joy in the user. People who abuse heroin report feeling an intense rush and an overwhelming feeling of euphoria while the drug is being metabolized into morphine in the brain. Chronic use of heroin will change the structure and functioning of the brain, leading to tolerance and dependence. Physical heroin dependence is demonstrated by the need to continue using the drug to avoid unpleasant withdrawal symptoms. Psychological dependence occurs when an individual firmly believes that he or she cannot function without heroin. Heroin addiction and abuse can lead to devastating personal consequences in nearly every aspect of a user's life. Heroin addicts may end up losing all of their friends and family members, slowly becoming more withdrawn and isolated. They may have lost their job due to poor performance or may have been kicked out of school. Additionally, addict's face a number of major medical problems that will only get worse over time as the abuse continues.

LearningRx, in Memphis
“I got involved in LearningRx after seeing the transformative results of cognitive skills training. I heard parents talk about their children no longer needing a remedial class, losing the "dyslexic" label, getting off stimulant medication for ADHD and developing increased confidence academically, socially and athletically. I see LearningRx as an effective innovation & intervention that can improve any student's grades, IQ and confidence. I was awed by soldiers and seniors struggling with traumatic brain injuries, who were able to progressively strengthen cognitive skills to return to greater levels of self-sufficiency. You have come to the right place for help!

Delta Center for Co-Occurring Disorders, Treatment Facility in Memphis
“The term dual diagnosis, or co-occurring, refers to individuals who experience more than one mental health or substance abuse disorder at a time. While most often a dual diagnosis will include a mental health disorder and a substance abuse problem, that is not always the case. Sometimes an individual can be struggling with multiple mental health issues. The need for expert care by professionals trained to provide services for both types of disorders is paramount for recovery and healing. At Delta, our experienced staff recognizes the complexity involved in treating those with a dual diagnosis and have a history of successfully working with individuals with this complicated condition.

Content-Free Therapy, in Memphis
“I am a graduate of Fordham's psychology department and am trained/certified as a clinical hypnotherapist by the United Kingdom Hypnotherapy Training College. My clinic's unique and dangerous model is both a product of my business studies at Notre Dame and the experienced convictions of the modern revolutionaries of hypnosis/hypnotherapy: Anthony and Freddy Jacquin; hence, Content-Free Therapy stands in stark contrast to most other hypnosis/hypnotherapy practices by striving to end client-suffering in just one session. As we say at CFT, either one is in the business of helping people or one is simply in business...
