I believe in lifes journey people experience changes and transitions which challenge our ability to adapt and grow. Difficulty in this process can be expressed in a variety of ways including feelings of depression, anxiety, irritability, sleep disturbance, change in appetite, reliance on alcohol/drugs, lack of energy, and other symptoms. Often these symptoms are early warning signs we are having difficulty with these changes. Sometimes normal life changes like loss of a relationship, leaving home, or birth of a child can be stressful.
