I have a unique and holistic approach to psychotherapy. Using a combination of traditional methods, energy psychology modalities and mindfulness principles, I assist in the exploration and resolution of emotional obstacles to promote healing and growth. I use my understanding of the interrelationship between the mind, body and spirit, to work towards transformation and relief of trauma and limiting beliefs about the self. My style is empathic, warm, supportive and client-centered. I believe following the innate wisdom and insight of the client and creating a safe therapeutic relationship are essential elements in the journey towards healing.

My passion is working with clients who have sexual compulsive issues, sexual addictions, internet pornography, and their partners including partners of those who offend sexually. I provide a non judgmental, confidential, and safe environment for clients to explore the areas of their lives where they may struggle. I also specialize in working with clients who have substance abuse issues, dual diagnosis, depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, relationship concerns and codependency. I also assist clients with chronic pain and tinnitus. I am actively licensed in Florida, New York, and Tennessee and serve clients in those states.

For sixteen years I suffered from an eating disorder that ultimately inspired my studies to help others who felt anxious, depressed, and insecure. My focus is primarily client-centered; however, I use an eclectic approach to meet the needs of my clients.

Here is a little bit about me: I have worked with primarily adults and adolescents in residential facilities living with substance use disorders and other co-occurring disorders. I also have experience working with families, couples, and individuals living with mood disorders, self-harming behavior, anxiety, anger, identity/sexuality development, body image, relationship issues, self-esteem, trauma, personality disorders, and grief.
