“Do you love an addict? Feel exhausted, confused, sad, even angry? You've put your life on hold. Will they ever clean up theirs? Always on pins and needles waiting for that dreaded phone call, and then what? It's painful to love someone so much and yet feel so helpless. Perhaps you've been lied to and stolen from, then forgave only for it to happen again and again. Friends and family are done listening to the never-ending cycle. Now you're alone with nowhere to turn. How did you get to this place? What can you do?

“Therapy is a chance to explore your feelings and thoughts, to gain a better understanding of yourself, and to make positive changes that will allow you to experience life more fully. It is my job to provide a safe environment for your exploration, and to draw on my knowledge of theory and technique to help you access untapped or forgotten resources. I believe that through a respectful therapeutic relationship you will be able to explore beliefs that limit your life, and ultimately you will be able to choose, with awareness, how you want to be in the world.

“It's all about relationships. It is through relationships that we are most significantly injured, often in our earliest years, by those we most depend upon and trust... And, it is through relationship that we can most fully recover and heal those early wounds. What I have discovered is truly healing is my capacity to offer you a new and different experience of yourself - - as it is almost certain that I will see you very differently than your parents/caregivers saw you. Your experience of being seen and interacted with differently is a huge part of the healing process, and very freeing and empowering.

We offer a dual track program for sex addicts and their partners. The ARC's program is a 4 Phase program using the LifeSTAR materials in an outpatient group setting. Phase 2 offers small weekly groups with a staff facilitator, with workbooks, outside commitment to a 12-Step program and other tools to help you. Phase 3 continues the group work, but now the focus is on childhood trauma which is where all addiction begins. The Partners also have small group meetings with the emphasis given to healing from the relational trauma and help to decide what to do going forward. Don't wait to get help!
