Pathworks Workshop, PA, Counselor in Tampa
“Suffering arises from unconscious mental processes, so successful treatment requires connecting with the unconscious. Field research in cultural anthropology -- and 20+ years practicing psychotherapy -- helps me to look for how realities, meanings, and values emerge from experience and associated feelings and emotions. You will focus bare attention on thoughts, emotions, and experiences long enough to recognize and accept them and then to integrate them into continuously evolving, healing self narratives. The journey will include whatever works for you, be it mindfulness meditation, self-hypnosis, somatic exploration, yoga, story telling, writing, drumming, singing or anything else that gets results.

“"My Mission" I dedicate my life to exploring my own personal and spiritual growth as I do my work in supporting and guiding people as they journey through the dark night of the soul and toward their inner light. I have explored and studied many different avenues of healing and continue to do so. However, my work has found its home in the Enneagram of Personality Types, a system of self-knowledge which has opened the way for me to integrate a powerful blend of techniques, including Holotropic Breathwork.

“Sometimes life can get you down. It happens, but it doesn't mean that you have to go at it alone.Counseling works. Why? Because we are social creatures and we need each other. When problems reach a point where it is difficult to move forward, it is time to reach out to someone. Working with a close friend or loved one can help, however, sometimes it can be difficult to talk to people who are close to you. Working with a professional is a safe place to work through issues. I am willing to be that person.
