Manzetta L Jackson, Counselor in Toledo
“Since attending therapy is an implicit admission of imperfections for most people, my approach to counseling is person-centered and collaborative. Once the therapeutic alliance has been established, this approach allows clients to express their emotional reactions, develop more productive ways of dealing with feelings, and increase their levels of understanding and awareness. My counseling philosophy is to provide support, education, feedback and treatment that inspires clients to successfully take appropriate actions that will assist with solving their problems. Therapist qualities that I utilize include, but are not limited to, mutual respect, authenticity, genuineness, integrity, and the ability to empathize.

Katie Gamby, Counselor in Toledo
“My hope is to help you, the client, find the solution that can best help you move through whatever is getting in the way of you living your best life. I am of the opinion that clients know the solutions to their problems. The reason they haven't found those solutions is not because they aren't intelligent enough, but rather, they do not see the solution as a viable option. I, as the counselor, help clients find those solutions by utilizing the strengths of the individual.
