“Equine Assisted Therapy (EAT) is a unique, experiental therapy option. It's a collaborative effort using horses, two mental health professionals in each session, to help reach client goals. Horses are an excellent barometer of human emotions. The horse/client bond quickly highlights underlying issues not always uncovered in a traditional setting. EAT often requires fewer sessions than "in office" therapy. Therapy is done with horse and client interacting on the ground. No riding experience required.
