Hi! I am one of the newest members of the Accepted Family Therapy team, provisionally licensed as both a Licensed Professional Counselor and Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Mississippi. My experience has been with treating adolescents, college students, individuals, and couples with varying issues such as depression, anxiety, and family origin issues. We all have “our stuff”, but “our stuff” is a result of what goes on in our families, our jobs, and our relationships. I work with my clients to figure out how it all works together (or doesn’t) and how you, as a client, fit into that picture.

I am a Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW) licensed in the state of Mississippi. I earned my Master of Social Work degree from The University of Southern Mississippi in 2013 after receiving my Bachelor of Social Work degree in 2010. I have 10 years of experience in a variety of settings and with diverse clients, including both long-term and brief interventions.

Life is incredible, but it is not without challenges. I help distant couples, frustrated kids and parents, and families dealing with life's challenges.

Life is full of challenges, hardships, changes and surprises. My goal as a therapist is to walk alongside my clients as they go through life and help promote change and growth with them. I believe therapy is a joint endeavor to bring healing, change and growth. My passion is to provide a safe place of exploration for my clients where they feel they are heard and understood. This profile is for Dr. Danielle Maack, who specializes in the treatment of psychological difficulties in adults and older adolescents. This includes general treatment for anxiety, depression, and adjustment issues as well as specialized techniques for more severe difficulties of emotion regulation (namely Dialectical Behavior Therapy, or DBT).
