In particular, I work well with those who struggle with anxiety, depression,and personal loss. Parents, my work with your child is a collaborative effort. It includes your participation as well as involving other professionals such as teachers, guidance counselors, and physicians as appropriate. I work with children and their families using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). My practice focuses on children with special needs, including autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, anxiety and other behavioral challenges. I provide ABA direct services for children, supervision of these direct services, school consultation and parent training. These services are provided using evidence based treatments with the goal of increasing socially significant behaviors and skill acquisitions. I specialize in treating OCD and anxiety disorders. I use Exposure and Response Prevention, widely recognized as the gold standard for the treatment of OCD. I incorporate other cognitive-behavioral and acceptance-based approaches, including mindfulness techniques, to identify patterns in your thinking and manage behaviors that are impacting how you feel.
