Dr. Barbara Bernbaum is a Licensed Mental Health counselor who has been practicing since 1984. She graduated from Rollins College in Winter Park Florida with a B. S in Psychology and an M. A in Counseling and Guidance. She received her Ed. D in early and Middle Childhood Development from Nova University in Fort Lauderdale, FL 1989. Barbara believes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as a foundation for clinical treatment - to challenge negative anxious thoughts with rational logical thinking, to help develop and implement new alternative productive skill strategies to manage worries and cope with life stressors.

There is nothing I enjoy more than to see the transformation that can take place during the therapy process. I specialize in working with persons who have experienced trauma and primarily use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) therapy to heal past wounds. Sydni Adessa is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida who has been practicing since 2021. She has a Bachelors in Psychology and Masters in Social Work. Sydni seeks to understand each individual holistically to help them achieve their goals and improve their quality of life. Sydni strives to empower individuals to live the life they desire through building trust, highlighting their strengths, and setting realistic goals. Outside of work, Sydni enjoys being outdoors, swimming, and hiking with her husband and their three dogs.
