Her clinical experience was gained at Baptist Hospital, Alzheimer's Association, a Partial hospital Outpatient group therapy program at the Medical center of SETX, and a Residential treatment facility for adolescents.

Using an individualized approach to attain your goals, my methods are strength-based and solution-focused, integrating modalities such as mindfulness, motivational interviewing, positive psychology, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT).

Ashley is a Licensed Professional Counselor. As a native Tennesean, she earned both her Bachelor’s of Psychology and Master’s of Community Counseling from the University of Tennessee. Her professor once said, “Play is a child’s most natural language.” That phrase, along with her love of the children, solidified Ashley’s career path. A job opportunity called her to Texas where she fell in love with breakfast tacos, blue bonnets and wide open spaces. She worked at an inpatient psychiatric hospital that exposed her to a variety of clinical diagnoses in the child and adolescent population.

I am a therapist who strives to create a safe space for my clients to laugh, cry, be vulnerable, and be strong. My clients may begin their journey with me feeling depressed, confused, frustrated, and alone. We work together to discover the strength, power, and resilience that was in them all along. Some of the things we work on are depression, anxiety, sexual challenges, grief, loss, and anger.

Hi there! I can say from my own experiences that life isn’t always easy, fun or fair. In fact, as the years go by we are often faced with more difficult challenges. Factor in general adulting and whew! Sometimes, even the strongest amongst us needs a little bit of support working through life’s more challenging obstacles. My goal is to engage and empower clients by meeting them where they are in life. Over the past 12 years, I have been blessed to be apart of varying psychology based fields but found the most fulfillment in private practice.
