I believe much of our life satisfaction is based in our relationships, both with ourselves and with others. I am passionate about helping people overcome challenges they face in their relationships with their loved ones, as well as the challenges they may face with themselves due to anxiety, depression, or low self-esteem. With over 20 years in this field, I have developed a supportive therapeutic style utilizing effective treatment modalities to help clients feel empowered to achieve their goals. I enjoy working with clients who are interested in gaining further insight into patterns in their life and who hope to feel empowered to make changes. I believe that times of transition in life, while usually stressful, also provide immense opportunities for growth. I consider it a privilege to work with clients during these times in life and to help them use their resilience as a tool. Some examples of transition periods in life include, but are not limited to: start or end of relationships, death of a loved one, moving, career changes, starting or finishing college, birth of a child, marriage, or divorce.

I work with individuals with a variety of issues including but not limited to: depression, anxiety, stress, grief/loss, trauma, relationship difficulties, life transitions, self esteem/personal growth, adolescent issues, behavioral problems, intimacy, communication and divorce. Since 1991 our therapists have provided therapy to a diverse population of clients. We use evidence-based therapies to treat a wide range of individual, couple, and family issues. Our fees are on a sliding scale ranging from $25-$85. Our therapy is brief, strengths-based, and solution-focused. When you call, we will conduct a brief phone intake and schedule your first appointment. Morning, afternoon, and evening sessions are available for your convenience. The problems we struggle with seek to define and marginalize our identities as humans. The power that various problems seek to have in our lives can leave us feeling lost, helpless, and alone. Counseling can be a great place to begin to separate our identities from our struggles, where the problem does not get to define us as humans. My goal is to join you in this process and support the creation of a new identity, where the problem no longer gets to hold the mirror from which our own reflections are seen.
