I have thirty-five years of professional experience with in-patient and outpatient settings. I served as clinical director for a behavioral health program in a state-wide agency for 19 years, was adjunct faculty/family therapy supervisor at the University of Arizona in the psychology department for 11 years, and a family therapy seminar lecturer in the department of psychiatry for seven years. I have presented at local, state,and national conferences as well as consulted and trained for multiple private and state agencies. I specialize in child and family therapy as well as adult and marital/couples issues.

The complexities of families and relationships have intrigued me ever since I was a young girl. Even after 30+ years of practice in the field of Marriage and Family Therapy, I'm still intrigued and challenged to find creative ways to solve the difficulties we all encounter in our relationships with others. As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Arizona I have been a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) since 1981. I am a Past President of the Arizona Division of AAMFT. I am in private practice working with individuals, couples and families.

Hello and welcome to my profile. Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repairing something broken with a lacquer of precious metals like gold or silver. I like to think of this beautiful restorative art as a metaphor for the work clients do when they come together to heal themselves and restore their relationships with one another. Returning to graduate school as an older adult, I find that my years of life experience have enhanced my studies and work as a therapist.
