Bryon T Remo, Marriage & Family Therapist in Oxford

Marriage & Family Therapist, MEd, LMFT
“As a marriage and family therapist, I am uniquely trained to identify, track and break patterns between couples & families in conflict. I work toward helping individuals, couples and families take an active role in creating the kind of change they desire. Marriages are not meant to merely SURVIVE, but rather to THRIVE. In couples counseling I help parties develop greater insight into their relationship and maintain a mindfulness toward its growth. Through focusing on action steps, I actively challenge individuals and couples to take accountability for their own thoughts and behavior as opposed to assessing their partner's.

“Relieving symptoms of depression, anxiety, or other concerns is a primary focus of treatment. I strive to educate clients on these symptoms and work with them to minimize their effect on their lives, relationships and ability to reach goals. I'm able to evaluate a client's relationship with drugs and alcohol and uncover if their use of substances contributes to stress in their life and relationships. I find that an individualized plan is ideal and this may involve individual, group, family/couples care or a combination of options. I have 20 years in practice and can offer that experience to you and your family.
