Ina Lasmane, Marriage & Family Therapist in Anoka

Marriage & Family Therapist, MA, LMFT
“Do you feel stuck in depression, anxiety, anger, resentment, emotional rut, or pain? Do you keep repeating and reliving a relationship pattern and/or a behavior, but you don't know why? Maybe you tried therapy and self-help before, but it did not work for you, or it worked only initially. Traditional talk-therapies alone do not work, because they only access one part of the experience. The other information remains unprocessed and is easily retriggered by external or internal events & circumstances. Only when all the information (cognitive, emotional, & sensory) is processed, the person is able to let go.

Allison Johnson, Marriage & Family Therapist in Anoka

Marriage & Family Therapist, LMFT
“My ideal client is a person who is willing to work on their mental health in a positive and meaningful way. I believe that homework is a key part of the therapy session. It is difficult to achieve lasting change in your life if you do not practice the skills and tools you learn in the session when at home. I have experience working with children, families and individuals who have been diagnosed with anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, adoption issues, attachment issues, oppositional defiant disorder, and ADHD. I am also certified to provide Prepare Enrich premarital and marital therapy.

“Finding the courage to discuss personal private matters can be a challenge. Many clients have worries about how they will be perceived in therapy; or if they will be able to find a counselor they can trust to feel comfortable sharing their personal feelings. I believe creating a safe non-judgemental therapeutic environment is essential for the process of change to occur in counseling. By working together with my clients we develop goals for change. Throughout the change process clients become more skilled at replacing negative unproductive thoughts, feelings and behaviors and implementing positive, more productive ones.

Jennifer Webb, Psychologist in Anoka
“For some, childhood can be painful, confused, even traumatic. As we grow into adulthood, the effects can manifest as depression, anxiety, anger, and abuse. Having experienced such childhood issues myself, I can offer understanding, patience, compassion, a sense of humor, and a non-judgmental attitude. I see my role as that of teacher and companion, traveling my clients' path with them, offering them the knowledge and experience I have gained in the course of my own life and practice, as well as learning from their journey.

“I'm a neuropsychologist in Champlin, Minnesota. I primarily administer neuropsychological tests to investigate such diagnoses as ADHD, Traumatic Brain Injuries, Giftedness, Learning Disorders, and Alzheimer's. I help clients with plans and strategies to help deal with the diagnoses. If clients elect, I meet with them for 6-10 sessions to help facilitate the new strategies. I typically get people scheduled for an evaluation within 3 weeks of first contact, and results are shared 2 weeks after the testing is complete. Many other locations often can't schedule clients for 6-12 months.

John Ferguson, Clinical Social Work/Therapist in Anoka
Verified by Psychology Today
Clinical Social Work/Therapist, LICSW
“With excellent training (University of Iowa; Simmons College in Boston) and years of experience (20+ in Minnesota), I am able to offer professionalism and a strong theoretical grounding (e.g. psychodynamic; cognitive-behavioral). That is important, but more important is your experience as a client. Our work together will be built upon a helping relationship of trust and understanding. What would it look like? Identifying and solving specific problems; exploring aspects of your "self" and utilizing your strengths; making change that you set as a goal.
