Terry A Spring (Wold), Counselor in Livingston
“I thoroughly enjoy working with individuals that are interested in seeking help in change and understanding, especially if it relates to trauma. I have 12 years experience in law enforcement which has allotted me first hand experience in numerous traumatic incidents, and personal insight. With that being said, I find it incredibly rewarding and meaningful to offer education, coping skills, and understanding on how to deal with some of life's tragedies, large or small. I believe it is very common for anyone to become 'stuck' in life and need a little therapeutic push in the right direction.

“PLEASE NOTE: I am currently not accepting new patients. My apologies. If you are reading this, chances are you are not a struggling adolescent. In all likelihood, however, you are a parent or other caring adult, who is looking to help such an adolescent. Compared to adults, youth have fewer coping skills, less control over their environment and, sometimes, lack the capacity to work through what's bothering them.

“I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families, with a goal of increasing their capacity to live more connected and meaningful lives. Often the ways we have learned to adapt to our world (or world view) are no longer effective or relevant. I seek to help clients create deeper awareness and insight into their motives, defenses, and desires. Together we explore patterns that contribute to struggles and dissonance in day to day life.
