Retreat at Lancaster County, Treatment Facility in Ephrata
“Dealing with drug or alcohol addiction and recovery can be a difficult process often accompanied by feelings of hopelessness and helplessness. Those already dealing with alcohol or drug dependence may not have the coping mechanisms needed to properly heal during this time. Many mental health professionals often identify five stages of grief - denial, bargaining, anger, depression and acceptance. Since some of these emotions often overlap with the addiction process, treatment for both can often be achieved at the same time, but it takes special attention to these unique circumstances to obtain a successful outcome. At The Retreat, we have designed a program that focuses on rehabilitating those that require such extra care and strength to get through their addiction. Track groups meet Monday through Friday Individual sessions with clinical specialists, available daily Holistic component. RECOVERY PLANNING - Focus on developing sober support Learning to make changes in daily living to support recovery LIVING THE SOLUTION - FOCUS ON SOBRIETY Focus on taking a proactive approach in the first year of sobriety Learning to see the world through new sober eyes. RELAPSE PREVENTION- Learning to identify triggers for relapse and developing an action plan Learning how to identify stages of relapse
