I understand how difficult it can be to take the first step towards healing. To me, the most important aspect of psychotherapy is the relationship between therapist and client. I strive to provide an environment where clients feel safe to disclose private thoughts, feelings, dreams and feel comfortable taking emotional risks. Clients come to me seeking help with unresolved trauma, relationship difficulties, mood, and disordered eating. It is my privilege to work alongside others towards creating a more fulfilling and peaceful life.
I am an integrative clinician utilizing different methods based upon the individual client. Theoretical orientations include psychodynamic, humanistic, existential, and experiential models. I am trained in EMDR and structural dissociation theory. I also draw from DBT and other mindfulness-based techniques. Clients appreciate my humor and authenticity.
