Life is full of twists and turns that can leave us feeling unsure of the path ahead and sometimes even unsure of who we are. Are you feeling anxious, down, or just not like yourself lately? Perhaps painful memories weigh heavy on your mind and heart. Whether you are feeling stuck, in crisis or preparing for a change, I am here to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space for you to better understand yourself and your path forward, to increase your capacity to navigate difficult life events, overcome fear and anxiety, heal from past trauma wounds— and ultimately experience more meaning and fulfillment in your life.
I am licensed in both Arkansas and Illinois and specialize in treating anxiety and trauma. I often incorporate somatic experiencing, a body-oriented approach, into talk therapy which aims to drain emotions of their power, alleviate pain and better manage stress. I enjoy working with both adolescents and adults and am LGBTQ affirming.
It takes courage to start therapy and begin a journey of self-discovery. If you are ready to begin this journey and interested in exploring how we might work together, I invite you to call, email me or visit my website to schedule an appointment.
